The reward
IIHS offers a flat thank-you reward for a successful referral. The exact figure, milestones and caps are confirmed by IIHS and may change.
When it's paid (arrears)
A reward is paid after the referred student enrols, pays and stays enrolled through the retention window. Rewards are paid in arrears; nothing is payable before these conditions are met and verified.
Your warranty
When you refer a student, your tick confirms you know the student and the details are accurate — it is not consent on their behalf. IIHS will seek the student's consent before any non-essential contact, and will not contact a minor without a parent/guardian.
Tax
rewards may be subject to tax/withholding under Sri Lankan law. Any tax or withholding is deducted and reported as required; your net reward is shown at approval.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to be an ambassador. A referral that matches a student already in our pipeline, or one already attributed to a professional agent, is not eligible for a reward. IIHS staff in certain roles are excluded to avoid conflicts of interest.
